Antique Frames
All of our original antiques were made in America in the late 1800's to early 1900's.

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our antique iron bed frames, we do not accept hold requests.

Antique iron beds come complete with original headboards, footboards, side rails and bed slats to support your mattress set. Headboards only are also available.

Conversions of original antique 3/4 and full sizes are available. Queen conversions at $100, headboard raises $75, canopy conversions start at $275, King conversions $550.

Refinishing of original antiques range from $275 to $395 for custom finishes. Prices for custom finishes are determined by the size of the frame and complexity of the finish.

Finish samples are available upon request, once a purchase has been made.

American Classics and Dream Gallery
All are hand-crafted to order here in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Custom designs are available including canopy conversions, post and finial substitutions, post and canopy height adjustments, rail height adjustments and false footboards.

Production times currrently average 8 to 10 weeks. If you require delivery sooner, please call to request our rush order service.

Billing & Order Status

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Once your order has been placed, an email confirmation is sent to you. We do not disclose or sell email addresses or personal information.

Once your order has shipped, we provide you with tracking details via email which includes the shipping company's contact information. Should you wish to track your shipment while in transit, please contact the carrier to obtain your shipment's status.


Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. All of our non-antique items are custom made to order, therefore, once your order has been placed, we are responsible for manufacturing costs. After 72 hours of placing an order, cancellation requests are accepted at the discretion of A I B and are subject to a 40% restocking fee.


Price Adjustments

Prices are subject to change. We offer a one-time adjustment for items purchased within 7 days of a price decrease. This includes permanent price adjustments only and excludes temporary, special promotion sales.


Sales Tax

California residents will be charged the appropriate sales tax rate based on the delivery address.

Applies to shipments within the 48 contiguous states.

*Remote or not easily accessible delivery locations may require a secondary carrier and, if so, additional delivery charges may apply.

First Threshold or White Glove Delivery including assembly.


Preparing for Delivery
For White Glove Delivery, customer is responsible for determining that elevators, stairways, ceiling clearance, hallways and doorways can accommodate item(s) being delivered. The delivering carrier will call you to schedule an appointment. Prior to delivery, customer is responsible for clearing the area where the furniture will be placed. An authorized individual must be home during the delivery to accept and inspect your item(s).

What to Expect on Delivery Day
Your furniture will be delivered by experienced furniture delivery professionals, either inside your first threshold or unpacked and assembled in the room of choice. Closely inspect your item(s) before the delivery professionals leave your home.


Damaged Items
IMPORTANT: Orders damaged during shipping, which are properly documented, will be replaced at no additional charge. For First Threshold Delivery, inspect packages thoroughly before signing, noting any dented corners, tears or punctures on the carrier's bill of lading. A I B is not responsible for damaged items that have been signed for without noting the damage at time of delivery. Orders that arrive with obvious damage (to the headboard and/or footboard) should be rejected.

All damaged items should be reported by calling A I B at (800) 378-1742 within 48 hours of delivery.

Outside the US
We are not shipping outside the US at this time.


Guarantees & Returns

Antique Frames
All sales are final with no refunds offered. A I B reserves the right to replace existing rails and/or hitches if A I B deems the originals to be structurally unsound.

Non-Antique Items

The American Iron Bed Company collections are made only here in the USA. We know that the superior quality and craftsmanship of American-made iron products insures your satisfaction. If, however, you are unsatisfied with your order once it arrives, call us within 3 days of delivery. No returns will be accepted without prior approval from A I B. Items must be returned in their original packaging and arrive undamaged. Items returned for any reason other than manufacturing defects or shipping damage will be subject to shipping charges and a 50% restocking fee. Hand applied finishes variations are not considered a manufacturer's defect. Design/height variations due to size differences are not considered a manufacturer's defect. Dream Gallery, New Vintage are non-refundable. Custom orders are non-refundable. Prior to order placement, Customer is responsible for determining that stairways, ceiling clearance, hallways and doorways can accommodate item(s) purchased.

Warranties

A I B warrants all non-antique product's structural integrity to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for life. This warranty is for normal household use and requires the use of an A I B's supplied bedframe, rails or top spring or an approved alternate. This warranty does not apply to trundle units, upholstery or damage from neglect or intentional abuse, institutional or commercial use and moving damage.

Repairs or replacement under this warranty shall be made without charge to the customer, with the exception of shipping charges.

Returns to the factory, under this warranty, are subject to packing and shipping charges.
